Everything, from the staff who were exceptional to the rooms which were always clean and great to sleep in, breakfast was a great selection of foods and the staff were awesome.. We stayed in the suite and the access to the lounge was great, lovely service there aswell.

The hotel is light, bright and airy with loads of history and character. The staff are exceptional and so kind and helpful. A special mention to Rachit who went above and beyond to help look after us one evening when I was unwell. Evening gluten free options are better than the pool menu but that’s our only gripe. Metro station is just 200m walk and the hotel is peaceful and quiet. The pool is the best we found during our whole holiday. If you can afford a suite you won’t be disappointed. I would highly recommend Maidens Hotel if you are in Delhi.

Located in a safe and quiet area, with clean and modern rooms, comfy beds, and really lovely staff that went out of their way to help you. We stayed at a Mariott Courtyard just before coming here and I would say the Colonel's Retreat staff were significantly more considerate and ready to help. There were little details throughout our stay that made one think that the Colonel's Retreat really cared about their guests - small dark chocolates to welcome you to your room, home made multi-grain bread, banana bread and marmalades at breakfast, and non-intrusive asking if there was anything to make our stay better. My favourite stay in Delhi so far!

From the minute you walked in you felt welcomed. The level of service and meticulous attention to detail was brilliant. My room was excellent and the amenities just superb. Literally the best place we stayed in our whole India trip. Amar, the receptionist welcomed us after having bad days and helped us a lot. The hotel was amazing and would recommend everybody to visit and it's worth it's money. Amar, also helped us and booked us a 3 day trip with a private driver Satpal which was the best driver we ever had. Thank you, for making our stay memorable.
