Out stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful as it exceeded out expectations! I just wished we had booked a few more day to enjoy the stunning pool area and beautiful rooms We booked a 60 min massage which was amazing. The therapist was very professional and the Spa area and room was beautifully appointed and very relaxing.

We even started our 2 AM hike to Mount Batur from here, and coming back to the stillness of the resort and the smiles of the staff was just what we needed. Our stay at Kastara Resort was absolutely fantastic—truly a memorable experience from start to finish. Although we didn’t have the chance to try the spa (we were always out exploring!), we are confident it would have been amazing based on the quality of everything else. The service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the suites with an outdoor hot tub, and it was absolutely incredible. Soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the stunning views of the jungle was like a dream come true. The infinity pool was equally breathtaking—a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The cleanliness of the resort was unmatched; everything was spotless, and we’ve honestly never experienced such meticulous attention to detail in a property. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal we had at the resort was excellent, and we loved that we didn’t need to go anywhere else to enjoy high-quality dining. The live music in the evenings added such a lovely atmosphere to our dining experiences. It’s rare to find a place where everything exceeds expectations, but Kastara Resort truly deserves its 5-star rating and more. In terms of location, it couldn’t have been better. The resort is a peaceful haven away from the chaotic center of Ubud, yet still close enough to explore. It’s about a 35-minute walk to the center, which was perfect for us as we could avoid the traffic while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding jungle. It also served as the perfect base for exploring Ubud and its beautiful surroundings. Without a doubt, Kastara Resort is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We absolutely loved it. The place is beautiful, the rooms are well equipped, cleaned 2 times a day and the bathroom and the shower are really great. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They did absolutely everything to make our stay as good as possible. Thank you all for being so friendly and helpful. The breakfast and food in the restaurant were also pretty good.

Perfect first night of honeymoon. The staff is amazingly kind (in particular Wayan and Putu), breakfast is superb for variety and quality, and our room was lovely and with a breathtaking view on the forest . We'd love to come back!
