We came on the afternoon ferry and immediately rented a couple of bikes for the afternoon from Aran Bike Hire who took our bags to PAH. Kevin arranged for us with luggage to get to the ferry. A magical visit.

However, the pub, Joe Watty’s is just at the end of the lane if you prefer to go for a pint or a meal. I loved that this facility had a washer/dryer so I was able to get some washing done. Very helpful and thoughtful. I also loved the full kitchen, even though we didn’t get a chance to cook, because I was able to wash and sanitize our water bottles. The host had prepared a binder filled with helpful tips about the property as well as several pages of information of what to do/see on the island.

Geraldine is a lovely host and very accommodating and a very friendly woman. Location is a short walk from the pier. Nice breakfast and a good shower. Felt more like a hotel than a B&B

It was so relaxing waking up next to the water. The sauna was a great touch, we used it both days and it was such a treat! Also the sunrise is absolutely amazing from the property.

Breakfasts are provided each morning, and Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The location is stunning, on a quiet side of the island and on a hill with wonderful views. With rented bikes we got around easily. The room was very comfortable, and the downstairs sitting area was cozy and good for meeting people and chatting. Breakfast was delicious and the hostess very kind and helpful.

The holiday home comes with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a patio with sea views. The property has an outdoor dining area. Wonderful place to stay. We were two couples the downstairs room was tiny so the bed was a full but I slept great. The whole house is lovely and clean. The view is stunning. I was concerned because we had a later ferry and didn’t have time to run to the market and we were pleasantly surprised to have fresh bread milk and eggs to make breakfast with. I will try to stay here on my next visit. We all loved having space to hang out and enjoy our trip.

The hotel is in the heart of the Gaeltacht where the Irish language is still spoken. In the local area there are good walks, boat rides and Dun Aongusa Fort. Excelent Breakfast included in price. Picked up from ferry termnal by Limo like van by a nice yound chap. Staff really friendly. If ever back in Aran Island will be my port of call. Loved the stay here, 2 nights was way too short a time, Did not want to leave!
