It's a beautiful place but too crowded and expensive. If you are looking for parties and drinking all day long, that's the place. The gastronomy options are diverse and costly. The structure of the village is OK, good public services, however, the TUPA (tourist fee) is too expensive.
Morro is an amazing place in Brasil. I really enjoyed staying there. It has a busy beach with a lot of services (Segunda praia) and also chill beaches like Quarta and Quinta praias if you prefer less crowded and relaxing places. The city center is very nice, the food is great. Beware that there might be too many young kids around Feb/March.
Morro de São Paulo is a beautiful destination with a relaxed island vibe and stunning beaches. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway, yet there's plenty to explore, from natural pools to lively beachside restaurants. The village is charming, with no cars and everything within walking distance. The boat trip to get there adds to the adventure. Breakfast at most pousadas is fresh and tropical. The beach bars offer great caipirinhas and sunset views. It’s not luxury, but it’s authentic and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Bahia.
Morro de São Paulo is a paradise. I highly recommend people visit Salvador just to get the catamaran to Morro de São Paulo. The island is amazing and I recommend the scooner/escuna from Passeios Morro, to visit some amazing highlights.
The challenge is to arrive at Morro de São Paulo. By bus and boat the poverty is cruel to see, and the pit stop there is no infrastructure in the toilets for example. The reception by the "taxi drives" is a little stressed because they are disorganized. But after crossing these challenges the city is wounderful, the beaches are amazing, and the climate is perfect,
Morro de São Paulo is like paradise on earth. The water at the beaches are warm, clear and full of little fishes. The service at the beach is great. You have amazing restaurants to pick, beautiful people and lots of activities. There is a place called Bar do Morcego that is simply magical. One of the best sunsets I ever seen in my life. Iwould recommend.
