Hot water in the sinks, as well as the shower, was a real plus especially for washing dishes.

She was kind enough to set up a taxi ride for me and even made me an early breakfast. (Ask her how to find a ripe Papaya). Punta Gorda is a small town. Fun to wander around but for me I enjoyed the sounds of nature and silence. Oh! the rooms and apartments are lovely.

Marisa and Thomas were kind and attentive hosts. We had a long chat with Thomas who was full of information regarding the surrounding areas and all the amazing excursion options. Their son, Chayton, is himself an excellent guide who took us on an amazing excursion to see the mysterious source of the Columbia River. Deep in the rainforest, it bubbles from underground, a crystal clear beautiful set of cascades. Suncreek lodge is well kept and the cottage we stayed in was beautifully crafted in wood and very comfortable. We had a wonderful night sleep. Thanks so much Chayton, Thomas and Marisa for a great experience.

Tanager RainForest Lodge features a fitness centre, garden, a terrace and bar in Big Falls. The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and room service and free WiFi. Amazing setting, secluded. Lots of birds. Swimming pool that was perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. Staff looks after your every need. They have a restaurant and the food was outstanding. They were able to accommodate our vegan eating habits. Lovely hot water showers. Ours had a garden view.
