Situated on the edge of Emmen, a 9-minute drive from the centre of Lucerne, feRUS Hotel offers stylish rooms in a former factory building. Breakfast was very good All fresh and mostly local food. Bread was warm and eggs were from a local framer. Service was very friendly and helpful. Request for extra pillows was meet with immediate and cheerful assistance. Extra sparkling and still water provided at no charge in room. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. Parking was close, easy and free. It was an easy and free trip to downtown on the train or bus with tourist card provided from hotel. Took about 10-15 minutes.

Spacious studio apartment that was spotlessly clean, with a responsive host. The bed was comfortable and the host provided various amenities such as toilet roll, paper towel, laundry detergent, etc. The kitchen was equipped for cooking and we had breakfast and dinner there each day. The location was easy to get to, even though a bit outside the city (~15 min bus ride from Luzern railway station) because the buses are very regular. We also enjoyed the assortment of TV channels and movies available to watch.

Opened in early 2013 after a complete renovation, Hotel Lux in Emmenbrücke is just 6 km from Lucerne. It offers free WiFi and free parking. Clean location, free parking on site, cleanliness, comfort, good breakfast, I received free tickets from the hotel for public transport in the area. Bus station nearby, easy access to the tourist attractions in Lucerne. I recommend.

Located in Rothenburg, just a 15-minute drive from Lucerne, Hotel & Restaurant Chärnsmatt has a large garden, an indoor children´s play area and a playground that features a 1.4 km-miniature railway. This was my second time staying at this hotel, and once again I was very impressed. The place is spotless, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had dinner at the hotel and the food was really tasty and served really fast, which I appreciated after a long day of traveling. My check-out was super early at 2:30 am because I had to continue my journey, and since I couldn’t have breakfast, they kindly offered me a lunch box to take with me. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Set in Luzern, the recently renovated Gery's Camp offers accommodation 5 km from Lucerne Station and 5.2 km from Lion Monument. Everything, the place, location and host(Gery) was really welcoming. Super place !! Super host !!
