Hotels near Mykonos Airport - JMK, Mýkonos City

Tourlos is certainly a less expensive alternative to Mykonos Old Town---as a hotel location---while proving easy and inexpensive access (€2/passenger with the Sea Bus) to the Mykonos Old Town. The island of Mykonos is ,however,---as a preferred party island for especially the younger visitors---not my preferred Greek Island, for exploring historic sites or even enjoying places with a unique volcanic history and topography (like Santorini)....

As an Australian I didn’t come for the beaches…. Ours are first class but the sea water is more beautiful and crystal clear in the Mediterranean and Adriatic. The town itself is unique with quaint cobbled alleyways and restaurants everywhere and shops. It’s European style . Summer must be a nightmare with all the tourists so September for us was great, still warm and good weather. The bus routes are on opposite sides of the waterfront. One bus runs that way and the other ,the other way …… hope that makes sense. One leaves from the old port and the other from Fabrika square . Plenty of hired scooters or quad bikes available to explore the island . My first impression was not favourable but the next day had a better impression and enjoyed the two days in Mykonos . Long enough for me . We stayed in a beautiful hotel at the top of the hill called hotel Damianos … beautiful beautiful hotel , lovely breakfast, super friendly staff , lovely pool area and very reasonably priced . Would highly recommend

The people are very friendly and chill. The road is a bit dangerous for new people cause they drive like crazy, they don’t have traffic lights everywhere and zebra cross. But i enjoyed my stays in Mykonos♥️

It was away from the crowds and peaceful, able to enjoy the resort pools, walk to beaches, restaurants, etc. Not much of any shopping though. Close to bus station to take to Mykonos town where all of the people and action are! Would have loved more time for their spa!

We loved this hotel - beautiful, clean, and with friendly people. The team made our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was well-prepared and delicious, featuring local dishes. Especially Perparim, George, Vasilina, and Magda provided a professional and unforgettable welcome at breakfast every morning. Extremely nice & friendly staff. Hotel lobby, rooms and facilities are clean. Rooms are spacious. Pool & Hot-tub are cool. Breakfast quality is so good and variety is there. Dinner hasn't that many options but good quality & reasonable pricing. Nearby good beaches and the airport. Mini fridge enough to cool anything you want to buy. Safe is free & enough for a laptop and other devices. Parking is free & available at all times.
