This was one of the best places we stayed at during our round trip of Iceland. Sadly we only stayed a single night. The view in this house is indescribable beautiful. You are directly by the sea and can watch the port activities. The amenities at this place are also quite appealing. We even got some breakfast in the fridge we didn’t even expected. This was the perfect place to spend Christmas. When visiting consider traveling up north to the polar circle. We were able to sea quite a few seals and some other amazing wild life. The host is extremely nice as well and checking in is as easy as possible. Definitely worth booking this place.

Such a cute house and room! Room was big and bed was comfy. The husband and wife owning this guesthouse were absolutely wonderful! We recieved an amazing breakfast with homemade fresh bread. Got to say hi to the cute dogs of the farm as well. Would highly reccomend!

Fálki cottages is located in Þórshöfn. This holiday home provides free private parking and private check-in and check-out. It was the best place we stayed in Iceland. Serene setting, cozy amenity, wonderful cabin. We would like to stay for more days next time when we visit Iceland again.

Hotel Nordurljos features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Raufarhöfn. A nice hotel to stay, very near to the Arctic Henge, the room was cozy, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The dinner we had at the restaurant was very delicious. The hotel’s owner Mr. Holmsteinn Björnsson, was extremely friendly and hospitable. He told us so many interesting stories of Raufarhöfn town and even invited us to take a look at his fishing boat. We were made to feel very much at home.

Set in Kópasker and only 36 km from Jokulsargljufur, Melar Guesthouse offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. A hot tub is available for guests. Absolutely lovely and wonderful stay. Best views, nice decorations and also very kind host. The hot tubs are a great plus, too. I'd definitely come again and will recommend this little oasis to everyone I know that travels north. The area is totally underrated and there are a lot of nice things to see. You can get some groceries in Asbyrgi or Thorshöfn if you come from the other direction. The house is equipped with everthing one might need :).

Located in Skinnastadir, Dettifoss Guesthouse is 25 km north of Dettifoss Waterfall. It offers simple, modern rooms with shared bathrooms. WiFi and parking are free. It was a really perfect place, bathrooms clean and spacious, as well as kitchen and sleeping rooms, had everything we needed. It was also on a remote location, so we managed to see Aurora from here, great value for money, definitley recommending this place.

Situated in Garður in the North Iceland region, Nordic Natura features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This was such a lovely place! The cabins were comfy, modern and in a great location with big views. It was only a few minutes drive to the small supermarket and cafe as well as the Visitor Centre. The host was friendly and helpful.
