The staff was super nice and helpful, we went to Onsen very late and had basically a private onsen for us since it was so late, and the area looked super lovely. We wished we had more time but had to catch an early flight

This is very close to the airport (if you have a rental car) and is tucked away in a valley all by itself. We had room 7 facing the forest and we really enjoyed our stay. We found the owner to very friendly and we were able to have some good times there chatting with her. This is a simple husband and wife business and is not high end. The onsen is hot, which is great. There’s only about 10 cabins which is nice. It was very peaceful. We used this as a launch pad to other places and onsens in the kirishima area too.

We spent four nights at the place and had a great time, taking trips to Kagoshima, Izumi, spent a day hiking in the surrounding hills and recovered at the onsen in the evenings.

25 miles from Kagoshima Chuo Station in Kirishima, Live here like local Japanese do provides accommodations with access to a hot spring bath. 5 stars for everything Yuki’s Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay for us. It was very relaxing, and the house was convenient and clean. Yuki had renovated his grandmothers house with good taste, it was modern but with tradition. It was nice to sink feet into the onsen water foot bath on the deck after walking around the peaceful surroundings. Yuki gave us also good information about area and was very kind as a host. We enjoyed our visits to the Youyu-an Onsen and Noah’s Coffee House where you can drink coffee grown in the Kirishima area. We could have stayed longer! Greetings from two Finnish ladies
