One of the best places to stay in Lamu, with an amazing terrace in a spectacular house. There are a lot of good and not expensive restaurants around. The owner of the house did all to make it more than comfortable, arranged a pick up from the airport, gave me a free upgrade of the room, asked every day if I need or wish something, helped to find a amazing boat tour and enable to stay in the house a few hours longer. Beytsalaam Apartments is set in Lamu, 200 metres from Lamu Museum, 400 metres from Lamu Fort, and 600 metres from Gallery Baraka. The air conditioning in the bedroom was fantastic. It was a huge bedroom with closet space, lots of room to put your stuff, and a large ensuite bathroom. The location was great, right on the waterfront, close to water taxis, etc. The staff were so friendly and were always there if you needed them. After check out, they called to inform us we left a few things in the room, we left them on purpose, but it was nice to get a follow-up call.

I just loved the interior design of the place, the rooftop, the furniture... The room was really spacious, the bathroom too. The breakfast was good, Moses who was managing the place is very kind and helpful. It's very close to the pier and it was easy to reach.

I couldn't believe that the place is exactly as in photos. In person it's even better. The staff as well are welcoming, very helpful with tours and they keep the place clean. I enjoyed the pool a lot!!
