I was in Christiansted, St.
I was in Christiansted, St. Croix on business, and I would not recommend visiting the island for leisure. While it’s a beautiful Caribbean island, it has clearly been terribly mismanaged for many years. This is evident in the poor infrastructure, run-down streets, and the overwhelming amount of junk cars and trash along the roads. There is also a noticeable lack of restaurants and stores, which limits dining and shopping options. Overall, the state of the island was disappointing.Guest review byBrandonUnited States - 8.0
Lots of shops and great places to eat.
Lots of shops and great places to eat. Grocery prices are UNBELIEVABLY HIGH. I packed about 35# of frozen food in my checked luggage to help offset food costs. IE: 1 quart of milk was $ 9.99 at grocery store 😨, half pound of bacon was $ 19.99...YIKESGuest review byTerryUnited States - 2.0
No air conditioning in master bedroom.
No air conditioning in master bedroom. Water leak in master bath. Uncomfortable twin beds in guest room. Small shower in guest room. Mold smell. Very limited internet. Dirty/soiled living room furniture. Dirty outdoor furniture. Beautiful view but beach not for swimming. The Landing was our favorite spot. Avoid towing traps downtown.Guest review byVickiUnited States - 10

Loved the countryside, restaurants, people were friendly and helpful, shopping very enjoyable, downtown night life very enjoyable, visited several beaches and all were beautiful, loved the ocean, and did not have a bad meal at any restaurant. I especially liked the hospitality shown to me at various sites throughout the island. Historically interesting also ...Guest review bySedoniaUnited States - 8.0
Christiansted boardwalk had plenty of restaurants and bars.
Christiansted boardwalk had plenty of restaurants and bars. For breakfast we recommend Christine. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Bombay. Without a car travel is difficult. The cars were all rented when we arrived and there were none available. The taxi drivers change their rates and you always feel like you’re being hustled. We were less than 2 miles from the boardwalk and they wanted $40.00 each way. The driver $200 for a ride to and from Pointe Uddell.Guest review byCynthiaUnited States
