Portofino exceeded our expectations since we entered the property. The resort is very nice, large and very well maintained. Everything is clean, and the staff is very friendly and caring. As soon as we arrived, Mostafa helped us through our stay and made sure we were not missing anything and all was perfect. It sincerely was. He did a great job in making sure our stay was fantastic. I have a been in various resort around the Mediterranean, and this is definitely the best one. The pool (where some are heated) are very fun and well adapted for the kids. Ours are 3 and 6 and they enjoyed it a lot. The food in the various restaurants is well above what you could expect in "all in" resorts. They make sure is it varied everyday and you can find everything you need. You have different choice of where to go for lunch or dinner, depending if you are in the aqua park or near the beach. There are bicycle everywhere in the resort you can use to move from one place to another, this is very convenient as the resort is very wide.

I don’t even know where to start... Everything was AMAZING! This Hotel is just THE PERFECT place to relax and have a lot of fun on the sun. They keep their pride in keeping everything clean and beautiful, and all the people working there are extremely helpful and friendly. They attend to their guests with every need, the freshly prepared food is so delicious with different choices and varieties. Every day there are many activities around the pool such as Zumba, Yoga, Water polo, Aqua gym, Volleyball, Pètangue, Darts, Etc. After the delicious dinner, the Animation Team led by Shaggy, will make sure to keep you entertained and laughing every night with different programs and shows such as The Oriental show, Dance show, Comedy show, Fire shows, Mic show, and many many more. You just feel like you are a part of that Happy Life Family during your stay, so that is why this name is Just perfect for this hotel and I thank you all so much for a wonderful holiday. Firstly, the food was fabulous - freshly cooked, very tasty and excellent variety from one day to the next. Everything else - the room; the staff etc were fantastic as well. I tipped as I wanted to and never felt like I had to like some places make you feel. Reception (Mohamed, Rahim, Sherif) were very helpful and friendly for general information and booking taxis; storing luggage etc. It was December/January so the pool was cold but who wants a pool when the beach is so nice? Three extremely nice reefs to snorkel for free with very easy access from the beach. Also very easy for beginners. I honestly loved it!! Top tip - if you snorkel between 7am and 8am you might have the entire reef to yourself....and the turtles of course...pure magic :-)

Everything was exceptionally good at the hotel - particularly the staff. Our of all hotels I've stayed in Egypt I found their staff to be the best.

This 4-star hotel is located in Jabal Al Rossas Bay, and features a private beach (across the street) and outdoor swimming pool. All of the rooms have a balcony, and some have views of the Red Sea.
