The hotel is exceptional and frankly exceeded our expectations. Its minimalist architecture centered on an inner garden is a real highlight. We had a fantastic stay. Everything was perfect, including the public baths and the breakfast. We stayed in a superior room. The location was good, only a few streets away from central metro and bus stations. The location is exceptional, just few steps from the Kyoto station, you dont even suffer with your bags, everything is near, restaurants, malls, services, convenience stores, everything .... The staff is also very nice and helpful, they give you recomendations if you request them and also help with your lugagge if you need to send it. The rooms are spacious and confortable

The hospitality from the team is amazing. The whole team greeted us upon reaching the ryokan and served us hot tea upon returning to the room after a long day out. It really have the "coming home" feeling. The food is Kyoto speciality and there are so many courses to finish for the evening meals. It's really great to try out new cursine e public bath is well maintained and is quite exclusive as this is a small ryokan. Overall, we loved our stay here and my kids are hoping to visit them again.

A beautiful location. Rriver view is outstanding! During cherry blossoms, it should be absolutely magical. The room is a great combination of a traditional ryokan and a modern hotel, has everything you need for comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. We also were allowed to leave our luggage before check-in. We visited public baths and liked it.
