Perfect location to spend a good weekend in the amazing Miyajima. We could enjoy our comfortable room and japanese style bathroom! Regarding the breakfast, you can choose between japanese style and western style. We choose the western style, it was tasty and very rich even if a little bit different compared to the usual western breakfast. Staff is very kind and they can speak some English. Overall, Mizuhaso is totally recommended.
Good reasons to stay in Sakuraya: - Location (on the island Miyajima!). - Kindness of the staff. - Japanese style rooms (warning! Sleeping on a Japanese futon might be uncomfortable if you are picky with mattresses). - Onsen in the basement to get a relaxing bath at the end of the day. - Breakfast for 500 yens. The breakfast is not very generous, but it is a good deal for that price.
Really nice hotel with a public bath and a traditional Japanese room
Prompt responses ! I have never had such swift interactions anywhere ! Location at the water front You see deers grazing in front of the hotel Shuttle bus service Luggage drop off at the pier when we went for sightseeing after check out Traditional Japanese style and customs Onsen
Real Japanese room very closed to the coast and the main shrines. It is very good for the ratio quality/price. The staff is very gentle and efficient.
The japanese traditional house is very charming. The host is very kind and helpful.
Amazing value for money. This hotel provides service above and beyond; with even small details like little cakes in your room and toothbrush provided. Don't believe the reviews saying English is not spoken. Just think of booking for the restaurant a few hours in advance with reception and if you need something a little shop sells drinks, beer and snacks. We had the Japanese dinner both nights and it was delicious (lots of food though). Highly recommend.
Jukeiso is a beautiful Japanese style Inn in a perfect location in Miyajima. We absolutely loved our stay at this traditional property
Excellent service by very dedicated staff! Clever system to keep the sands out of the hotel by providing slippers at the entrance ánd the staff cleaning your shoes! We enjoyed staying 3 nights and were always treated with a variety of delicious traditional Japanese dishes for breakfast and dinner. The onsen turned out to be a blessing after a long day's walk.
