Situated in the centre of Florence, Palazzo Martellini Residenza d'epoca features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. I booked the big room at Palazzo Martellini for our family of four mostly because of the location and price. I couldn't be happier w/ our room or the staff. The room is amazing for two reasons 1) size and 2) the original Renaissance era fresco on the ceiling. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I had difficulty finding the place (we were driving) and Giorgio was very calm and helpful despite the fact he had to stay late on a Saturday evening. And finally the breakfast was fantastic. The best pastries I've had in Italy.

The stuff is very friendly, everything is shining, room service was just perfect. The spa and pool was very clean and neat. The location is very convenient, close to all the main sights, though the neighborhood is very quiet.

We stayed in a three bedroom apartment with our two children (3 and 5) and my partners parents. The apartment had everything we needed and was right next to the fantastic pool, children's play areas and bbqs (the communal bbqs are a lovely perk to this property). The shower in our accommodation was the best shower I have possibly ever had, and the beds were very comfy!

Apartments are elegantly furnished, with a fully fitted kitchen and bright dining area. Each is air conditioned, and has a bathroom includes with hairdryer and toiletries. I love the place, super clean and spacious. I recommend this apartment, if I gonna go back to florence gonna stay here again and again. I am also thankful for the staff they help us a lot.

A great bonus: you can refill your bottles with fresh drinking water anytime throughout the day. Truly a lovely vacation — thank you for creating such a warm and comfortable experience!

Apartments have all been completely renovated. Guests will find a flat-screen TV, free WiFi, a dishwasher and tea/coffee maker. Most apartments offer a view of the cathedral. Location is amazing! Staff are friendly and helpful. The lift up is a great touch given we have many large suitcases. Our living room is so comfortable even for 4 people.

All accommodation provides individual design, fully equipped kitchenettes, LCD TV, and air conditioning. Exceptional in every way. They had excellent communication before we arrived. They enabled us to check-in early, and would have let us at least leave our luggage (9:00am to 5:00pm) even if the previous guests hadn't left early. They were located right on the main piazza but our back room wasn't noisy at all. The room was comfortable, modern and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Where to begin? The apartments are on the top floor of a complex in the best place of Florence. It's a high fashion street (Gucci, Saint Laurent etc) and there are no cars allowed and no bars/restaurants around so its dead silence after 8 pm. It's near the train station, only takes 5-10 minutes to walk. And roughly the same walking to Santa Maria del Fiore. Loads of good restaurants not far from there. Good AC and good view. Cleaning did the best job. Will only be staying here when I get back.
