Beautiful compact property with direct access to the beach. We were a family of 8 booked into the 2 bedroom sea room and the founders suite … it was fantastic. The founders suite was value for money with the sheer size for everyone to hang out together + the private pool. The food was amazing. Phoenix house is a brand new and very special little gem which is a bit tucked away from the bustling center of Ahangama. The family and staff that is running the place is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like you are at home. I had a beautiful cosy room with a lot of light, a comfy bed, clean bathroom and AC. The Sri Lankan chef Henry prepares whatever delicious meal you are craving for. A nice add-on are the events that are hosted on the rooftop now and then (at extra cost) with a beautiful ocean view.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff were so friendly and even upgraded me to an executive room with a tub, which was such a nice surprise. The room was big, super clean, and had everything I needed. 😌 The view of the sea was gorgeous, and the location is great close enough to town but still nice and quiet. There’s a lovely pool right by the sea, perfect for relaxing. The place felt really safe the whole time, and having gated parking was a big plus. Honestly, just book it you won’t regret it!
