Beautiful new boutique hotel on the very quiet Kalkudah Beach. A beautiful setting with gorgeous garden and sea views from every room. Spacious accommodation including a large room and bathroom, and many communal sitting areas. Each room also includes a private terrace or veranda with comfortable furniture. The staff were wonderfully attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, with a special mention to the chef Manoj who created beautifully presented, freshly cooked and most importantly delicious food. He catered each meal to our specific requests and dietary needs. It is a wonderful property to stay and relax. It’s worth noting that there’s nothing to walk out to and the town is a bit of a distance, but you will have a lovely time staying and relaxing at this hotel. The beach itself is stunning, the water is calm, clean and warm and its is fringed by palms. Paradise

We stayed in the front house and it was very clean, really spacious and with a functioning, quiet air-conditioning. Location is calm and close to Kalkudah beach and Passikudah. The staff were so lovely and even though they didn't speak great English they went above and beyond to make sure we were well. So friendly and attentive. They now also offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea/ coffee to a very reasonable price. Overall, amazing value for money!

From the dining area we could see and hear the sea. It was magical. The food was delicious and the staff did everything to make us comfortable and happy. We loved staying here!

Home away for Home: The stay at Coastal Villa, Kallady - Batticaloa was excellent for the few reasons. The room was vast nice and cosy and bathroom also similar as large neat and clean. The host served homemade food that we ordered and the money was worthy to the delicious menus all the prices in USD easy to calculate.  The location in Kallady area is good. we chose this for it's beautiful blue beach, it is near of 100 metres from Coastal Villa. We visited the British and Portuguese occupied places we had good experience to see and boating is available in the Batticaloa lagoon we enjoyed of it. There is a lighthouse, we climbed to the peak and the view was magnificent and we felt everything was underneath of our feet. Joel himself was a very good host. He went out of the way to make us feel so at home and taking personal attention to help us. His father and mother of house helped us very good. I appreciate their cooking was amazing. Dear guest please don't miss the food they cook I recommend it for you. The front view of the house is very neat always cleaning and the hall well equipped with big sofas and having WiFi. Guitar is available too for  play.  We had very good stay and thank to to the Host. I highly recommend Coastal Villa.

A very nice place to stay. A very beautiful place to stay. It is very clean. The bathroom is very clean. The bathroom is very clean as is the bedroom. We stayed for one night. The staff was very kind and friendly. We had dinner and lunch there. We had the most delicious food in Sri Lanka. I was very happy. We wanted to stay for two more days but we didn't have a reservation for two days so we had to leave the next day. We highly recommend this place. The beach is just in front of you. You can walk to the beach. There are tall trees. The place is quiet and peaceful. This place is a good place to relax.
