It was simply amazing from the beginning to the end! An experience like no other 😃. My friend and I were upgraded and had wonderful sea views and enjoyed watching the surfers. All staff were professional and friendly and went out of their way to provide the best experience ever! We fell in love with the adorable Kiki the local hotel dog. Franzi was incredible and added a personal touch to your stay and always had a smile on her face. I have stayed in many hotels over my years of traveling and this hotel is simply THE BEST!

The property was exactly what we would have wanted - it has only 32 rooms and allows for an intimate, personalized guest experience. The service was truly exceptional - we had an issue with the room we were given on the first night and the staff more than made up for it and fixed the issue as soon as they were able. I have to say this is the best service I have ever gotten in any hotel I have stayed at. The beach was phenomenal as well - clear waters, not at all too crowded, and we were blessed with great weather as well. I have been to many beaches and resorts at Bali and in Phuket and the like. My experience of both the beach and the property at Riff Hikkaduwa far surpassed all of those experiences. Very highly recommend! My husband and I are already thinking about when we might be able to go back.

The room is very spacious with a huge bathroom and the hotel is located right at the beach! Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed is very comfortable. But the best aspect of this accomodation is the owner and the hosting team who truly went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. Every single employee was always extremely friendly and considerate, they truly left a mark on us for their hospitality. We took a surfing class which was super fun and the restaurant next to the hotel serves the best coconut roti in the world.

THE best place in Sri Lanka! Rooms are impeccable (big, extra clean, smells great) Spot is right on the beach, close to all the best restaurants. Restaurant is one of the best on the beach. Neela’s is nicely managed, staff is welcoming and competent. We wish we could’ve stayed longer.
