Beach Hotels in Lamai

Excelent, professional and super nice staff! Great food, beautiful beach, nice swimming pool and overall just beautiful resort in the middle of paradise.

Very good hotel! Polite staff and very nice hosts (Sam and India). There is a convenient place to work with a laptop in the room (a table and a comfortable chair). Good internet, it was enough for me to work remotely (there are several WiFi routers on the floor, so the rooms have good internet speed). Comfortable bed with a comfortable mattress. The hotel owners put new toppers on the mattresses - it is very comfortable to sleep. The room is cleaned once every 2 days. There is a microwave, a small refrigerator. There is a small pool. There is a private parking for bikes. The beach is within walking distance. SevenElleven and Makro stores are nearby. There is a cafe within walking distance. 15 minutes walk along the main road towards Chaweng, there is a good cafe Roti Pho Thao (I liked the food, prices and service; price-quality). Or you can go to the bar street near the beach.

The staff are super nice and helpful! Breakfast is good, Muay Thai session is good, massage is good, staff will try their best to provide any assistance once I needed something.

Helpful and friendly staff, and the location is just perfect 1min to the beach and sea. Very close to Hin Ta & Hin Yai, shops as 7elven, family mart, pharmacy, laundry machines, fresh fruits street vendors, massage parlour. There may being little thing for people who doesn't like some kind of little lizards. The resort is between nice and green nature so sometimes it may happen some friendly lizard comes inside. For me that's not a problem. Hope to back again 🙏

Each cottage was private, I didn’t even noticed we had neighbors at all! How wonderful it is to feel like your home away from home. WITH A SEA VIEW!

You can't tell how they do it. But from the start, the team of the Rock Samui will give you a relaxing and warm welcome to this little tropical paradise. Build as an tribute to the international series 'the flintstones', the Rock offers everything a traveller needs. Chill out places, a private beach to relax at and moreover a staff team that is interested in offering professional service. One my way back home i even revisited the hotel - it was so great. Therefore i can just say thank you, for your wonderfull teamspirit. May it be the endearing Chaw who has the empathy to share heartwarming laughs with good feelings. Yet also offers smart advice for your trip, professionalism when it comes to questions regarding the hotel and sharp comments - if you let her. The all knowing, almost tour guide niveau Gerome from philippines, who knows everything about the island Kho Samui. May it be the way to the ferry, the bus stations, the time of traffic or locations to eat, enjoy or meet friends. But don't forget about the rest of the team. The kitchen handles your order excellent. There are even fresh croissants every morning. Since i've been to france this year, they can stand the comparisson. Also it is very clean everywhere. Been in other hostels and hotels so far. Still, this one stands out. If you work a lot and want to relax, the Rock is your place to go. Of course bigger or even party beaches are just a shortly away. But who wants to go there, when you can have a private beach with your friends? When we were at holiday, one tourist even fell to the ground unconscious. The team called emergency immedeatly and even visited the unlucky solo traveller afterwards in hospital. In short: They genuinly care for you as a guest. Something, you can't find everywhere in the world.

I loved everything about this place. I stayed in the studio just by the sea. The most fantastic view! There's a private terrasse and a private kitchen. Everything is very clean, the style is simple and cosy at the same time. All staff was very helpfull and kind. Especially Jerome, who was a great help, when my connecting flight was so delayed, that I couldn't get there in time. He rescheduled and made it all work out. Such a helpful og loving person. If you look for a place with a lot of restaurants, clubs and shops around the corner, this might not be the right place. For me - looking for some quiet time - this was the absolute best place I stayed in Koh Samui.

Paradise. we have been backpacking for the last 6 weeks and needed a relaxing night. this was perfect. the room was amazing and had a private plunge pool. room is huge and worth every penny. Victoria the host consistently went out her way to accommodate us and her English is incredible. Could not recommend this place enough.

convenient location, a few minutes walk to the sea. I liked that there was nobody behind the wall. Everyone was in their own separate house. Therefore, the soundproofing was ideal. there is a swimming pool with sun loungers. I liked the order and the set quiet hour that all guests followed. It is possible to buy a tour or order a taxi. But most importantly, the hostess is absolutely sunny, friendly, and ready to help her guests. Thank you, dear Golf!🙏

Our room was large, clean and comfortable. We arrived in the early morning and the host kindly allowed us to check in right away. We appreciated the early check-in as we were very tired from our travel.
