They even helped us with the transfer to Tikal and back. Our double room was simple but big, with a big terrace with chairs and a hammock to relax and enjoy the greenery / to read etc. Bed was comfortable and had a decent mosquito net. They have a decent menu so we seldom ate breakfast there or had some drinks. The hotel is a walking distance from El Remate so we also walked to visit some restaurants or tienda for some snacks when we wanted to. My favourite thing for sure was the fact it's a little away and in the greenery, little hidden gem. Because it's close to the bioreserve, it was wonderful to hear the sounds of nature and especially have our first experience with howler monkeys howling 🙂 I would recommend it for sure.

Erick was really welcoming, responsive, and attentive to our needs and situation. Always ready to help and give good advice. The place is quiet, nice and has a nice view over Flores Island and the lake. You get to the hotel thanks to a small boat and the ones you take to get there and leave are free (otherwise it's 10Q per person until 10:00pm). Around the hotel there's a viewpoint, a beach and a small archeological site. For the rest you always have to take a small boat. Nice room, hot shower.

I'm really thankful to all the staff who made my son's dream of having a campfire near the lake while enjoying the sunset.
