What to say? Better than home. Thanks very much for the kind welcome. It was like we were with old friends. The atmosphere is warm. Everything is perfect, from the breakfast to the room, even the decoration. The price is totally fair. For sure I’ll be back! Fun fact, we were 3 French guests the night we stayed. I stayed at Klondike House for one night while hiking The Kerry Way. It was a great place to be able to unwind after a long day of hiking. The room and bed were very comfortable and it was very quiet. I had a very good sleep and the breakfast in the morning before I headed out to hike again was wonderful.

The hotel restaurant was amazing. We ate a fantastic three-course dinner, definitely something we were not expecting to do in a small costal town! Also, the breakfast was tasty and included a dish you could order from the kitchen. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and gave us some nice local tips and insights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family-owned hotel!

The rooms were impeccably neat, and the cottage itself was exceptionally clean, making our stay very comfortable. While breakfast was not included in the price, having it as part of the package would have made the experience absolutely perfect. The cottage’s location, just a short distance from Portmagee town center, was superb and added great convenience to our stay. Overall, a wonderful experience!

No breakfast (as advertised) but the tea/coffee/cereal/milk and yoghurt provided was more than sufficient to start the day, toaster, kettle and cleanliness was greatly appreciated, highly recommended Even though we reached only after 7:45pm and left by 9:30 am, it was a stay that we enjoyed

We loved our room. It looked out over the harbour and was spacious, so comfortable. Nice to have tea and coffee facilities, and a bathtub. The kingsized bed was also fabulous. We were also very impressed with the restaurant, the food was excellent. Breakfast was so good with many options, and we enjoyed our dinner as well. Linda at the reception was very friendly and helpful.
