- Owner is nice and welcoming and speaks good English - Internet is fast enough - close proximity to the Golden Temple and restaurants - quite in the nights - it has shared kitchen with fridge - owner helped us with exchanging money with exact rate how it is official in the central bank - arranged tuktuk for 700 inr to Wahga border both ways so driver would wait us (you might need to agree for that before hand, it takes around 50mins to reach by tuktuk and don't forget passport) - we have been provided with soap, towels and extra bed cover

Very helpful and friendy staff. When our taxi driver got lost the reception team spoke for us and got us back very fast. The dinner organised by the night staff was delicious. Some of the beat fromnour whole trip which is saying a lot and in the morning the transfer cab was waiting before we finished our tea and shortbread snack to get us quickly to the airport with time to spare and plenty of waters that passed through security. Thanks so much

The hotel was exactly what my friends and me were expecting and it was perfectly fine for our trip to Amritsar and well located. However, the most exeptional thing was the the staff. They were very friendly and helpful and funny! They even let us eat in the boardroom late at night, when we could not find a place to dine anymore. Furthermore, I lost my airpods in the room and only noticed it when it was already to late. However, the staff found them after one day and was so kind to contact me and to send them to my accomondation in Mumbai. I am deeply impressed by their hospitality and can only recommend the Sagar Hotel.

Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, lovely garden. Mr and Mrs Makhija are great hosts. They have poured a lot of love into this B&B. The location is wonderful - a short drive to all the sights, very close to a bustling street and yet quiet. It is safe for solo travelers.
