All the staff is extremely welcoming and speak good English! They are so kind and help you with everything! The food they serve is excellent. They even provided gluten-free and lactose free mails for me. The sleeping room is very nice. Good bed, a fan and a nice big washroom with a good hot shower. The living room is very cosy with a big sofa where you can watch TV (incl. International channels) and relax like home. The price is very fair. They also arranged a nice massage for us. The location is perfect! It's quiet and safe so we slept very good. Sakina is a very nice place to walk around. With a taxi it's only 10 minutes tot he city centre for 5000 tzh. We recommend to go to the food and textile market. It's also close to all the safari companies. We stayed here for 4 days and would love to come back because it feels like home. I had an amazing time during my stay with Innocent and his helper Batistar. They were both incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make me feel at home. Breakfast was perfectly arranged every morning. The place is a kind of guesthouse where other bikepackers stay as well, offering a unique opportunity to meet new people and share stories. Innocent even took me on a tour around Arusha, giving me a chance to experience the city from a local perspective.

Isaac and Irene are two wonderful and bright host. They know everything about Arusha regions and beyond. Ask them anything and they'll always try their best to facilitate your projects. Irene is a vibrant and smiling lady, a talented chef and artist. Isaac run the business and other farm, music and ngo projects like a boss. A truely inspiring selfmade man. You can have honnest talks and build strong relationship with them as they'll always be kin to share meals, party and good laughs. The house is licated in a quiet street in Arusha town a few minutes by tuktuk from the city center, masaaï market and commodities. The beds are very confy and beautifully decorated, you'll feel like at home. Hot shower, clean bathroom and functionnal power outlets. Ideal for solo travellers or couple, even for family. In the future Isaac — who also has a bachelor in wildlife & tourism and knows a lot about animals — will be able to propose a full experience including safari trips at a very low price for amazing service compared to lost of compagnies. He's also working on building an NGO to help a close by but remote village and will propose opportunity for volonteers. You can really trust them as they'll always teach you on the real prices in Tanzania, how to bargain and will help you book your next bus or everything you can think of. I felt part of your family and friends, and I'll come again one day for sure !

Lovely setting, comfy rooms and good shower. We only got to spend a little time here as our flight was delayed meaning we got in late and had to leave early in the morning for safari. Andrew & Naomi were so friendly and accommodating with our timings and made sure we had breakfast before we left - it was delicious!

This place is yet to be discovered and get the recognition it deserves. The location is not very great, but you forget that fact soon as you enter the compound because it is quite beautiful, with amazing customer service. The design of the property is simple, modern and elegant with a mini-pool to boot. I loved the mezzanine design (which reminds me of Heritage Collection Skylight in Singapore :) and the well thought out interior, including a mini-bar fashioned dining area, well furnished kitchen, a huge smart tv infront of a comfortable couch. The staff were also super helpful and went out of their way to make you comfortable.

Themi View is most definately one of the hidden gems in Arusha. The main house including the garden and views along the Themi River are quite impressive. The staff are very welcoming and the rooms/villa are very comfortable. I have really enjoyed my time there and look forward to returning again. I would recommend Themi View to all travelling through Arusha looking for a quiet and comfortable home away from home.

We have stayed in Arusha many times and were so grateful to find this little gem. We were looking for somewhere quiet, safe and spacious for my five year old to run around and this was just perfect. The staff were so kind and helpful and we really felt at home. The house has been thoughtfully decorated and a short taxi ride to the centre of town. There are tasty hot and cold options for breakfast and an option to order lunch or dinner, which we enjoyed as a special treat one evening. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time I’m in Arusha and if I could take Researcher’s Rest and the wonderful team with me wherever I travelled to in the world, I would!! They really made our stay homely and welcoming.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Hearty breakfast. The most cuddly and friendly dogs too which is a major bonus. Lovely quiet outside sitting and eating areas. Quiet area but close enough to town center to travel cheaply.
