It is easy to give a good review when things go perfectly, but it is when things don't go smoothly and the property owner makes an exceptional effort to put things right, that reviews really matter. I turned up to my booking to find the property unattended. Short of time, I booked somewhere else. Booking.com doesn't allow immediate cancellation, even though it is obvious that no one needs two different stays on the same night! The owner was very communicative and understanding and worked hard to help process the refund. To me, this is the mark of an exceptional and responsible property owner. What a beautiful beautiful place! In the middle of a stunning landscape, in a very nicely done room with all the luxury you need, warm welcoming hosts and absolutely excellent food - we felt this must be what it is like in paradise. One of the most special places I have stayed at in my life. Stay for more than just a night to really catch your breath and relax, because this is the feeling this place gives you right away. If we are ever lucky enough to come back, we would stay for several nights and explore the surrounding areas and its beatiful scenic drives day by day, go for hikes in the morning and cool off at the pool in the afternoon.
