B&Bs in Sabie

We had a great stay at the Sabie Guest House. We had a short stop on a road trip south and the Guest House was perfect for us. The room was lovely with a comfy bed and huge claw-foot bath. We were greeted on arrival and given a tour of the property which offered lots of facilities including a lovely pool and outdoor bar area. As we had an early start in the morning, we were given a very nice packed breakfast to take with us, which we really appreciated. We were also given an excellent recommendation for a dinner restaurant in town, which was very close by.

Just beautiful, calm, clean place with a beautiful garden, very nice owners, lovely dog and cat, beautiful view, beautiful and very clean room and bathroom, super Breakfast, had made reservation for us at a restaurant...very good 'the wild Fig Tree', Could not meet it better

We had intended to stay somewhere else near Graskop but changed to this property at the last minute...and we are so glad we did. The communication prior to arrival was excellent with online forms to fill out with passport details etc, and then we were provided with the super easy self check-in details (code for gate etc). We arrived on a beautiful sunny evening and were treated to a gorgeous sunset view from the B&B. We had 2 units, one for us and one for our adult children and both rooms were stunning. Super clean, modern and comfortable with some gorgeous touches such as a decanter of sherry, logs and matches for the fire, a hairdryer, mini fridge, tea and coffee with milk and bottles of water. Even back up power for loadshedding. It felt like the owners had thought of everything. Unfortunately we awoke the next day to find a big cloud had settled over Graskop and the rain wasn't going anywhere in a hurry. However, this didn't deter us and being Brits we are used to a bit of rain! We met the owner and some of her staff at breakfast, and WOW what a breakfast! It was like being in a 5 star hotel with so many choices, nice coffees, freshly made fruits and yoghurt, cooked food prepared to order, pastries etc. The food was delicious and so full of flavour. The owner told us that she also owns a restaurant and this clearly showed from the presentation and quality of the food. She was very friendly and gave us some ideas of where to go in the rain and also some general tips for travel around South Africa, along with some of the country's history which was really interesting. On her advice we went to the Graskop Lift which was so atmospheric in the mist and rain. We can imagine that it is a very different experience on a sunny day as you can probably see a long way, but there was something so mysterious and beautiful about the rainforest and waterfall in the inclement weather. We were really glad we took her advice.

The grounds are beautifully maintained and much care has been taken in the design. Wonderful and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and carefully decorated with beautiful African furniture.

Adele and Sorada took really good care of us. As they were fully booked on our second night (we could only book one night), they booked themselves another guesthouse for us. They also booked a table for us at The glass house (at a short walking distance). Thanks to them, we had a very good dinner (restaurant also fully booked that evening). We could park our car inside the property. Very nice breakfast. Lots of super nice decoration. Adele even showed us some secrets of the house! 😉 Cool stop between the Blyde River Canyon and the Kruger. Thanks again for everything!!!

Friendly staff, cozy clean room with very comfortable beds. It has a small nice restaurant which serves very good food at reasonable prices. The warm Breakfast was fantastic, one of the best I've ever had in a guesthouse. Highly recommended.

The place is spanking new and very clean. The cleaning staff are amazing; service the rooms daily and packing clothes neatly
