There is a shared kitchen at the property. We wanted to stay near Zurich airport as it was our last night before returning home and we luckily found this little gem. Great attention from the owner, big room with all the facilities that you might need, and lastly, but not least important, amazing breakfast in the morning freshly prepared exclusively for us. Also good shout at the restaurant on the groundfloor under the same name (Freihof). They serve really good food too.

This stay was for my wife for her birthday; the following is her review. a gorgeous room right in the centre of lovely Winterthur. Superbly clean, very friendly staff and such a comfy bed. The price is a true bargain for Switzerland considering the central location and generous size of the room. Loved the inclusions such and a small fridge, bathtub, and tea/coffee making items. They even left me a little cake with candle and card for my birthday. Lush garden views and everything at your doorstep.

Unfortunately just for 1 night since it was a car road trip stop, but would love to come back one day! Very peaceful area, surrounded by nature and inside the house is just a package of warm and welcoming energy. The hosts were super nice! The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional with freshly baked bread, local selection of cheese, farmers eggs and home made marmalade. Also my dog was very friendly welcomed. Thank you very much for everything, I wish I could return tomorrow:)
