The owner is responsive to messages sent through the booking portal. A quality breakfast is provided by Nisha, who serves it with warmth and kindness, always wearing a happy and pleasant smile. Talalla Beach is about a 12-minute walk away along a relatively quiet street. Compared to other beaches on Sri Lanka’s southern coast, it is less crowded, making it a peaceful spot to relax.

The location is amazing, quiet but very close to the beach. The room is very spacious and very nice. The outdoor bathroom was the biggest selling point. The lady that owns it is SUPER nice.

The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. High ceilings, super spaces villas, felt like a real nice homely spot. So clean, comfortable and stylish. Just 5 mins to the beach and some nice local spots to eat at near by. Would 100% recommend this spot. Family and owner were really lovely and attentive but offer space and privacy as well Also the WiFi is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far! Thanks so much!

A stylish, comfortable and luxurious stay. This place is so special and you can see the love and care that went into this villa. Our room was spacious and looking out to the ocean. The beach is just a few steps away from the bedroom constertina doors that open completely. I loved the botique shop on the property with beautiful designer clothes. Lovely hosts and a really comfortable stay! There is also a beach nearby where you can swim with turtles!
