Good location in the old Medina and a nice breakfast, friendly staff too.

A continental breakfast can be enjoyed each morning. The entire hotel was so beautiful and clean, the staff was very welcoming from the first minute even if we encountered a language barrier they did the most to make us have a great stay. Whenever I go back to Tangier I will definitely stay here again.

Rooms at Dar Echchaouen Maison d'Hôtes & Riad are air-conditioned and decorated in traditional Moroccan style. Each room and suite has a private bathroom featuring a shower with tadelakt tiles. The suites have a sitting area and fireplace. Everything. The pool is amazing. The rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. The location is awsome. I’ll definitely go back

Great building (very spacious, clean, and plenty of bathrooms w/ showers) and the super friendly staff & management can't be beat! Full kitchen for guests to use, which I personally hold as a very high priority. Not To forget to mention that the breakfast is undeniably one of the finest hostel breakfasts I've had in the last ten years, hands down (about 10-12 minutes) but after that huge breakfast (eggs, cold cereals, 4 or 5 different types of bread, cakes, jams/cheese spreads/honey/granola/fresh fruit... and plenty of coffee & tea available ALL DAY LONG)! It's a short hike to the Medina...but it's a good excuse to walk off some of those breakfast calories!!!

If you want to see beauty and ambiance of chefchoan upclose , this is the place, we also had the kitchen , to make tea , we were given slippers to wear inside the property which were moroccan made traditional, I think that was a thoughtful detail. The breakfast was so good , best coffee and traditional breakfast, we are very happy we picked this place for our stay at chefchoan.
