One of my highlights of my 10 days of travel in Uganda was staying in Jinja at Home on the Nile. The location is incredible looking out over the water. It was very peaceful, and I loved relaxing and reading on the balcony. It's also close to the town centre and lovely cafes (for instance only a 20-minute walk or a very quick boda boda to The Deli). The staff were incredible -- extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. They made my stay memorable and helped to organize a white-water rafting trip for me. If I'm back in Jinja, I will always try to stay here!

The cottage rooms are super comfortable and nicely designed. The staff is amazing, efficient, direct and very polite. Keith makes sure the place is properly functiining. The communal area is uniquely designed - you feel as if you are in a 5 star lodge in one of the parks with the swimming pool and birds. Excellently priced. Highly recimmended.
