It is authentic a d beautiful. Place has good vibes, staff is helpful and cool. It is not in the center of downtown (5 min by tuc tuc) and I liked it. Definitely a recommendation for this place when you come to Siwa.

From the moment I stepped inside the hostel I felt welcomed and like home. Ibrahim who is one of the managers was very friendly and treated me and the other guests with utmost respect and warmth. The hostel has a very beautiful rooftop where you can watch the sunset/sunrise and/or just hang out. I did a tour around Siwa with the help of Ibrahim who organised a driver for me. His name is Moazzam, he is very professional at what he is doing and was always making sure I am fine. I also got to sleep a night in the desert thanks to them! It was a really beautiful and unforgettable experience. Location of the hostel could not be better, it is near to everything and so calm and peaceful inside. If you are a person who values authentic experiences and like to be surrounded by history, friendly people and peaceful environment, choose this place!

Beautiful place with private hot spring. You can sit at the fire in the evening, enjoying the guitar. Friendo is a very kind owner. He takes good care after you, preparing fresh breakfast. You also can make tours with him, showing you the beauty of Siwa. I stayed 4 days and Friendo became a real friend, he makes you feeling at home. The host contacted us pretty in advance to inform us about everything needed. As the location is aprox. 5km away from the center, he had the guy to pick us up when from the bus station to Siwa Spot. The whole experience was simply perfect: the place is super nice & quite, fully equiped with everything necessary: heater as it was January and quite cold in the nights, towels, bed sheets and blankets, hot water, hair dryer and a kitchen to have your own meals prepared.. all surronded by palms and a silence atmosphere that will allow you to completely disconnect from your daily routine. However, the best part was our connection with the manager, who even not speaking English (and us not speaking Arabic), was able to take us to anywhere nearby in his "tuk-tuk", help us in everything needed and took us to amazing places we haven't heard about. Kola made our stay in Siwa even better that expected and it felt just like home the 2 days spent in there. If you're hesitating about where to go.. this is THE place :)

The reception here does not speak English, but that did not matter and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and Siwa. On our last day, our long-distance bus departed at night. So we tentatively decided that we couldn't do a normal check-out, for example, leave our luggage at the hotel and roam the streets in the heat until the bus time. So we asked for a late check-out, which we normally don't do. However, I was not charged any additional fee. I think this is a feeling of respect and kindness for travellers. To everyone reading this text, if you are also in such a situation, please do not abuse that feeling and pay the hotel properly as a gesture of goodwill(baksheesh). It is important to be taken care of the traveller and at the same time we had to give joyfully, i guess. And if you will come to Siwa, please stay at this hotel. It is a safe accomodation where you can feel the real warmth of the Berber people and there is no sense of fraud. Best of all, it is close to the town centre! And a little further in, you can get a glimpse into the life of the Siwa people! Balcony is very large! Super landscape!!!

The camp have a perfect garden, very clean toiletes and kitchen. I loved every minute of my stay there. But the most important... Owner of the camp! Negar, is soooo nice and helful! He took us in the desert and to the hot springs 😍 and he is making a perfect breakfast 😍 Reservation was for 2 days, but loved the camp and Siwa so much, I had to extend my stay for 3 more days ☺️ Negar, hope to see you again!
