The family that owns this accommodation are so kind and accommodating. They stayed up to get us from our train and we were welcomed with tea and cookies. We had the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka here, both breakfasts and dinner. The rooms are in their house, but you still feel like you have your own space. They directed us to a nearby waterfall and tea plantation and also graciously allowed us to stay a bit to wait for our departure train.

Extremely nice accommodation and rooms! Very luxurious and comfortable! The staff is very friendly and wants to make your stay perfect! Bed is amazing and bathroom and whirlpool are awesome! We would definitely come back! Breakfast is also really good and a lot! Very clean! You could have a mosquitonet, but it's not needed. And there are blankets if it's getting cold! Good location - a short walk to the center. I recommend having dinner at the Themparadu restaurant!!!

Roshan was indeed very accommodating and welcoming along with other staff, their service was really top notch. It’s a unique property, just few steps away from all the buzz. Cabana is truly amazing, every little detail is thought through. Gorgeous bathroom, with bathtub overlooking the little town and the mountains. Facilities- top class! Better than some 5* Hotels. But all of that would be nothing, without amazing Host, who met us with a biggest smile and was there every time we needed something. Food set up, quality is out of this world. The service is extremely enthusiastic, offering to help with luggage proactively. The homestay owner's child greeted me with a handcrafted Chinese postcard, which was truly unbelievable. The welcome was done with great care and I could feel it. The next morning, I woke up early and the homestay couple also woke up early to prepare a delicious breakfast for me, which moved me deeply. Of course, everything in the room was great, and it was wonderful to enjoy the quietness at night. Located on a hillside, not far from the lake and city center, within walking distance for a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle.Until we meet again.

Even better than the accommodation itself was the service and help we received from the owners. They helped us with our travel plans, cooked a delicious dinner (breakfast was just as good) and helped with our car. The owner is a great guy who will not leave you in trouble. My whole family really enjoyed our stay. And if you stay here, be sure to take advantage of the home-cooked dinner offer. The curry here was really delicious!

    Great location for walking along the railway line, making it very good if catching the train for the scenic trip Nanu Oya to Ella.or to Kandy. He enabled us to check in a little earlier and gave us a few ideas of things to do, such as walking to the local waterfall. He would have cooked an evening meal for us but we chose a place in the village where there were a lot of locals eating.

    We spent a night at Ansi Villa, where we found an extremely hospitable atmosphere and very accommodating hosts. They prepared local dishes for dinner, with eight different preparations, showing great kindness and friendliness towards us. The room was clean and welcoming, and the next morning we were served a hearty breakfast. If you want a family experience and to eat homemade local food, this is the place to be. The owners were loving and even offered to keep our backpacks after checkout, allowing us to explore the city.

    We had an amazing stay at Ansi Villa and couldn't recommend it enough! The family are so lovely, friendly and accommodating. Our room and the villa was extremely clean, the bed was very comfy and we had the BEST food here. They cooked us dinner which was delicious and the breakfast was amazing. The accommodation is very close to Nanu Oya train station (5 min walk) and there is a couple of beautiful waterfalls nearby the villa which the family recommended so we had a lovely walk before catching our train.

    If you’re travelling to Nanuoya, I highly recommend Ansi Villa. The family were so warm and welcoming, providing tea and cake on arrival, and cooking the BEST Sri Lankan breakfast (which was included). The room was perfect - clean with a very comfortable bed and excellent Wi-Fi. The location is fantastic. Only a 10 minute walk to the train station. The best hospitality and great value for money.

    Very lovely Place! It’s on the outskirts of the village and very quiet, lovely view of the area. The owner are super sweet, ofer a free shuttle service and the dinner and breakfast were delicious homecooked meals 🥰. Bed very comfortable and everything is super clean. Anytime again!
