The property is a few minutes walk from Durbar square. Although the hotel was doing building work they let us stay. We were not troubled by the work and the hotel owner was extremely friendly. The hotel is in a narrow street with not much traffic, just the occasional motorbike (unlike other streets nearby which are full of bikes), and therefore relatively quiet given its situation in the middle of the city. We would not hesitate to stay again.

The Location is perfect! The Apartment is very clean! The Host is very heplful and friendly! The hot Watertank in the Bathroom could be bigger, because you can only shower around some minutes. Lovely place, very relaxing in the middle of bustling area with nice internal garden. I was travelling for work and was able to rest very well there. Comfortable beds and powerfull shower. Friendly and helpful staff.

A hidden gem and the place to be if you are staying in the Kathmandu area. When we found this place on booking we were surprised. Such a nice room just next to the main sight of Patan for a reasonable price. Can that be possible? It is and we were so lucky that we extended our stay. The owners are very welcoming and the room is super cosy and very clean. We would definitely come again.

I loved staying at Lumbini, it’s really a home! Beautiful property, rooms and rooftop. The staff are great, super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, so much fresh fruit! 🥰 A nice, quiet spot in Pātan also.
