Where to start, Before checking in we visited Kirkjufell and the waterfall and I think I could actually see this apartment from there :D The blue roof just shines. Upon entering, you're greeted by a washer and dryer, which was just perfect timing for us, The apartment has so much space and is just sooo comfortable. I wanted to pack up that lovely couch in the living room and take it back home with me. The views from both bedrooms are amazing (mountain range and Kirkjufell). Huge bathroom! The kitchen was well equipped with just about everything. Would love to return someday <3

The place is very comfortable cozy, clean, and spacious. It even has a separate tv room equipped with a massage chair! Its location is very well situated, close to the main road and nearby facilities and tourist attractions especially near the Kirkjufell. The owner is super kind. I’d forgot my purse at the place and left for Reykjavik. I didn’t realize that I had left it there until I’ve reached the town and the owner massaged me. I was so upset and was tired from the driving. As it was my last leg of the two weeks road trip and I was about to catch the plane home the next morning so didn’t want to go back to get it. Even though I had my credit cards and some cash in my purse I was about to let them go and told the owner to please destroy the cards for me. The owner instead told me to hold on and give her time to ask around if anyone she knows is traveling to Reykjavik. I was so glad when she messaged me that her sister is visiting her daughter and would be happy to bring my purse with her and meet at an N1 gas station. I was super lucky that the owner was so nice and I felt very appreciative. It was very kind gesture and I don’t know if I’ve left my purse at some other places, I would get it back. So I would highly recommend this place. My time in Iceland was amazing and the trip ended perfectly with this place the it’s wonderful owner.

The apartment was in a fantastic location in town - a short walk from the one small grocery store, a restaurant, and a waterfall. It was also an easy drive to all the amazing sights in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The kitchen and bathroom were recently updated. The kitchen has all you might need to cook - including an ample supply of spices and oils to use. All in all this was an amazing place to stay for our first two nights in Iceland.

The view of the ocean allowed for watching seals and sea birds as well as beautiful sunsets. Really can’t explain the location, it’s incredible!

Very nice accommodation, immersed in an atmosphere of comfort. I especially liked the soft and warm bed, the collection of CDs with a player and a lot of interesting and colorful books. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable staying. Highly recommend and hope to come back again

Also the hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

The accommodation features luggage storage space and bicycle parking for guests. This was best experience in Iceland first of all from hospitality point of view as well as history of the place, which hosts are proud to share. This has beecome an example of how heart, love to your country, strive for perfection can transform an old farm into super modern fascility reminding you of the history of the place. Not mentioning super views on fjord and complete tranquility and quietness of the place. The highlights: - welcome - story of the place, how the renovation happenned, introduction to the concept - all that makes you much better humanly connected compared to very convenient but very 'automatic' keys pick up via safe - design and concept - made by some famous local buroe there is a clear thinking behind. We were staying in what used to be garage and each room was named after a tracktor keeping the colors, i.e. John Deere will be green room, etc. - attention to details - great common area, living room, nice messages here and there, pizza to buy should you don't want to move etc. - great location - which with all honesty get us scared as you need to get to gravel road and drive couple of kilometers in the middle of nowhere, being rewarded by the view to die for - spotless.... just spotless:) - homemade specialties - caked and jam from the family, some other local food - advise on sight-seing highlights of Snæfellsnes Highly recommend!
