The place was spotless, the breakfast was amazing and dinner as well. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The views and the peaceful atmosphere were the highlights of our stay. Close to very nice restaurants and shops. Host is very accommodating and helpful as well as responsive. I would recommend staying here! Breakfast is served at a local downstairs. To check in you have to go to the shop on the right of the entrance. Pay cash (did say will charge my card but didn’t)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Residencial Tamarindos, a charming hotel located on the beautiful island of São Tomé and Príncipe. While the hotel may not be the largest in the area, it certainly makes up for its size with its warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features of Residencial Tamarindos is its affordability. Considering the nice location and the amenities provided, the prices are quite reasonable for the islands. The dining options at the hotel are realy exceptional. Each meal I enjoyed was a celebration of local flavors, expertly prepared and presented. What truly sets Residencial Tamarindos apart, however, is the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly and eager to assist, making me feel right at home. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch to my stay, and they were always available to provide recommendations or help with any questions 😊

You can enjoy city view from the room. Spotless rooms, with aircon and very good internet, nice public areas and the option to use the kitchen. Airport pickup went without a hitch. I found the area around perfectly safe even at night, even as a solo female traveller. The nicer restaurants are about a 15-20 minute walk away, but there's a corner shop and several bakeries close by.
