It was very clean, new and comfort. The other two rooms were unbooked so we had the shared areas (living room - cuisine, and bathroom) on our own. The host helped us as soon as i texted him. It has free wi-fi which you can connect even outside the house (very important cause roaming doesn't work in Switzerland). Welcome coffee, tea, water provided!

1. The apartment is fully equipped and has everything you need. 2. I did not check the level of cleanliness, but considering that my chronic diseases did not worsen, it was probably very clean. 3. The owner was very polite, kind, friendly and responsive. 4. High-quality, good coffee in abundance! 5. A wonderful view from the window of the mountains and one of the towers of the city wall. 6. The windows have metal roller blinds, which allows you to sleep peacefully in the morning without fear of being awakened by excess light.

The hotel is just 15min walk from the train station. They gave us lucerne pass for free, with which you can get free rides in public transports and discounts at other tourist attraction ( We already had Swiss Pass, so couldnt utilise it) The buffet breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and clean. The tap water is drinkable. The staff was very friendly.

Nadia and Thomas (and Barry the lovely dog) made me feel so welcome. Breakfast was all organic local food with fresh fruit, bircher muesli... nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable, immaculately clean rooms with a stunning view of the mountains. Straight out the door onto the cobbled streets at the heart of Engelberg.
