The staff was extremely nice, friendly and respectful. The owners are nice local people and they were very welcoming and accomodating. Couldn't find a money changer nearby and they took us to one in the rain and they were very sweet about it. Don't get me started on the view, it was breathtaking and waking up to it everyday + the sounds of nature was such a peaceful experience. The area is clearly a wild area and they did a super great job at maintaining it and turning the bungalow and its surroundings livable. The place smelled nice and was free of insects (we could hear a gecko at night but it was outside so we weren't worried). The lady brought us food right to our room, and we would just order via WhatsApp. If you're thinking of a nice getaway where you'll feel nothing but peace and harmony and pure joy, go for it and please stay for at least 2 to 3 nights (you can visit nearby waterfalls and plantations and rice fields).

Great accomodation very well located in the middle of rice fields ! We particulary appraciated the hospitality of the owner and his family who was always willing to help and take very good care of our needs ! This is a beautiful property with a room that has a comfortable bed, AC, and large bathroom. The highlight is the beautiful private terrace overlooking rice fields. I did yoga and spent a lot of time on the hammock here during our stay. The best part of this homestay is the host family. Sukry, his sisters and mother go above and beyond in ensuring you are having a great time. The dinners here were amazing, some of the best food we had in Indonesia and the breakfast is delicious and filling. It was home cooked food packed with flavor. We did a rice fields, monkey forest and waterfall tour with Sukry which was really fun - it was great to learn about all the different kinds of local produce grown here and explore the nature around. Sukry also organized our transportation to Tetebatu from Bangsal Pier and from Tetebatu to Kuta Lombok at very reasonable prices. This is not just a homestay but a unique way to experience authentic Lombok culture through the generosity, warmth and openness of Sukry and his family. Sukry is very involved with helping the community and even donates part of the proceeds from the homestay and tours to the local orphanage. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at The Alam Tetebatu! The view over the rice fields is stunning, and the peaceful surroundings are perfect for relaxing. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. From the bungalow, you can walk straight into the jungle to see the Monkey Forest, rice fields, and a beautiful waterfall. We highly recommend taking a walk with Udin — he’s friendly, helpful, and knows the area well. The wooden house was clean and cozy, and the food prepared by the family was delicious. Highly recommended if you're looking for nature and authentic local charm!
