Charming hosts and an idyllic, pastoral setting. Joe and Maureen have an easy graceful style and make you feel right at home, without intruding on your independence or privacy. The house is spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a lounge and breakfast room; Joe made a coffee for me himself on arrival. I stayed here another night on my return journey. There are nice pubs within reasonable distance; the Irish hospitality is wonderful.

We liked everything. The barbecue and the cozy fire was the best part, and the cabin was very clean and nice. You can feel much more in touch with nature; I would certainly suggest everyone to visit it.

A beautiful tranquil place to say. The professionalism from all the staff was second to none. The food was absolutely lovely. The rooms were lovely and cosy. The bed was very comfortable. A big shout out to the night porter Shelly for her friendliness and work ethic, she really is a fantastic worker.

Fab family fun country house with an old worldly feel..beautiful entrance, grounds and the bar and it’s food was just amazing. Breakfast was absolutely delicious & the lovely Ruth honestly couldn’t have done enough for us during our stay! We will be back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Oak Cottage. Mary and Charlie were charming hosts and very helpful with everything we needed. Breakfast was very generous and appreciated. Everything was immaculate Location is ideal for walking St Declan's way as it is enroute to Cahir. I would throughly recommend a stay here. Thanks and hope to visit again. Maura and Tim

I’d just like to say firstly, a huge thank you to Emily who went above and beyond in getting details and what not to provide a beautiful little touch to our room for my sons 12th birthday, Emily was a pleasure to deal with at reception each time my card didn’t work lol and I hope her hard work goes noticed. I will also say I had 2 12 year old boys with me who would gladly give it 10/10 Pool, breakfast, location and comfort is all what we just needed

What a little gem of a house. Really well appointed, clean, spacious and great location. Fresh eggs from the farm and milk in the fridge on arrival. Will definitely be back. Absolutely ideal for a family. Didn't get to meet the host but Sue was really responsive to requests and extremely accommodating. Highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful cabin beside Lough Derg. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and it was well equipped. Everything you need is provided. The location is fabulous. We had a wonderful stay here, highly recommended for a couple or family.

A lovely house in a very pretty and picturesque location. The house was spotlessly clean and there was some basic groceries and foodstuffs left for our arrival which was a lovely thought by the owner and allowed us to not worry about any groceries until day two. The shop was literally ten steps up the road and their was a nice quiet pub a short walk away.

Lovely room, really comfy bed and spacious en suite. It was all spotlessly clean. Theresa was such a welcoming host and the property is set in a beautiful location. The breakfast was delicious too! Would definitely recommend.
