Wonderful place for 2 adults and 2 kids, 15 and 11. Very clean, plenty of space, nicely appointed. The house has everything you need. It's very close to the castle. The photos probably don't do it justice, it's bigger than it looks, unlike most photos. Great shower and bath. Beds are great. Much appreciation to the hosts. We stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved it.

Cool, comfy, great location. When I booked I didn't reliasse we'd be able to walk to the Edo street and castle. Really nice.

On arrival we saw the exterior of the building and it wasn’t exactly appealing but once inside it was a little gem, it’s more of a little house with everything that we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable, a nice lounge setting and an easy stroll to the castle.

The place is very conveniently located right next to the castle and the shopping street. The kitchen is well equipped (there were even paper towels and Saran wrap, which most hosts forget about), and there is nice big western-style dining table. The tatami rooms have bed mattresses, so they are softer than normal futons. The bathroom was clean and modern, and has a nice washing machine (with a second one and a drier outside!).

The location is near the station. Room size is quite spacious for Japanese standards. The breakfast is good and tasty, for this price level getting breakfast included is an absolute steal. They have coin laundry too. Amenities always available to self pick up at the lobby.

+the place was clean +there was a washing machine and detergent +shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste were available +has a kettle, microwave, fridge and you could use a cooking pan if you pay ¥500 for the gas. Also a TV! +there was a balcony +friendly staff -sometimes hot water would not come out of the shower even if you waited a long time -the bed was a bit uncomfortable -kinda far from the centre, but there is a bus stop right next to it and also a Lawson across the street
