We completely loved this accomodation. Location was perfect, as we came by train and left by bus, it was walking distance everywhere. Whole property is super cool with nice touches that makes it very cozy. Room was extremely spacious with very comfortable huge bed. I liked balcony with nice seating area, which we did not have time to use :) . Whole style of hotels gives you nice colonial vibes, which is so typical for this town, so it just perfectly completed whole feeling from this Sri Lankan historical gem. Stuff was super nice always have nice words for us and helped us with all the questions we had.

Our stay at Olinda Galle was simply perfect! The property is stunning, with a truly special swimming pool. The garden is beautiful and well-maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room decor was elegant and thoughtfully designed, adding to the charm of the place. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was flawless—we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Highly recommended.

The structure is perfect! Once you enter you will never want to leave! The owner is the kindest and most altruistic person you will meet during your trip. All the staff are super helpful (they picked us up at the station and picked us to the main road several times) The services are always clean, the kitchen is very spacious and well served, the owner has also provided tea and several infusions for every need, all of high quality. Relaxing outside will be a must! More than in a hostel I felt like I was staying in a 5-star hotel !! 😍 The owner also made us do meditation and for my birthday they also organized a wonderful surprise, I couldn’t ask for anything better, we felt like family, we can’t wait to come back!

Darshi, Oshi and their three kids who live on the property were the most amazing hosts. Darshi is a phenomenal cook. The food was out of this world!! If you asked for a particular dish, it was delivered! Sri Lankan hospitality at its best. We also learnt much about the local culture from Darshi and Oshi.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The villa and rooms are very clean. The pool area is very relaxing and super clean, which you dont always see in the areas hotels. Breakfast is great and big! A bit outside Galle center but easy and cheap to move around with tuktuk. Location is nice because there is no big streets nearby so its quiet and peaceful.

The host was very friendly and was always ready to help. The room is very big and the beds are equipped with mosquito nets and ventilators. You hear the trains passing by, but not that often and for a very short period of time. They served me a small breakfast for free in the morning. Beautiful hotel interior. All staff are very friendly and always smiling. It was nice that there was beach access. The attentiveness of the staff is what really made it stand out like contacting us before we arrived to ensure we were all set and they helped organise our activities. Beautiful colonial style building with a nice and peaceful garden. Perfect location and very helpful and nice staff. The manager gave me a ride to the bus station at 5:30 am. I would definitely stay there again.
