I was more than satisfied with my stay. It’s important to understand that this accommodation is a kind of homestay, so the room is kept quite simple. However, it has everything you need and is very clean. The greatest advantage of this place is undoubtedly the host family. Not only do they prepare excellent breakfast and dinner, but they are also incredibly helpful in every other aspect. Unique and charming stay in heritage accomodation located on a historic tea farm. There are only 3 rooms available to guests so we had the place to ourselves most of the time and dined privately. A lovely garden to sit and read in and take tea, also many options so sit inside the heritage building itself. Reuben and his staff were extremely kind and enthusiastic. The chef created amazing local dishes and we had lunch and dinner onsite which was inexpensive. The location is quite remote so we stayed there and took a tea tour on the farm which was very good and the guide was great. We were picked up from Hatton by a tuk tuk which was a 35min journey. The setting is really beautiful and the rooms large and carefully decorated.
