We absolutely loved this place and the people who work here! It's so peaceful with a nice swimmingpool in a beautiful garden. We slept here two nights before and two nights after climbing Kilimanjaro and we were totally rested. The rooms are spacious with a cute little balcony and a comfortable bed. The chef makes very very delicious meals and the breakfast is amazing! We had a lot of dirty clothes after Kilimanjaro so we used the laundry service and I don't think my clothes have ever been so clean. The best part is that when we paid for our stay we got told that part of the money goes to the Mama Clementina foundation. All the more reason to stay at this lovely place! :D

The house located in a quiet neighborhood. The room was very clean and homely. It also has a lovely garden. Far was very nice and attentive. We went for a Moshi town walk, arranged by Far based on our request. The restaurant recommended by Far was very good and cheap. Transportation service (Tuk tuk/airport shuttle) is also always available with a fair price. We even got invited by Far to a local bar for beer and shisha. That was fun. Will definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kiwavi. The food was great, the place was very beautiful and Simba was very kind and helped us a lot with our travel plans. A family run operation, Mr Victor and his brother Beatus, and team are very friendly, approachable. Communications with Beatus on WhatsApp makes things so much easier. Most of all they have many years of professional experience running a safari business, organising Mt Kili treks, offering cultural tours, day trips from the home location. You are in very capable hands. Ensuring safety, enjoyable activities or a successful climb. Staying 2 nights and chatting with the team, i am impressed with the kindness, utmost level of dedication to make everything work. I only booked the 1 day Shira Plateau trek, it was immensely enjoyable and fun. Excellent guide Babu taking care of us. This trek is easy level, i would highly recommend it. The home is sort of up on a slope, offering vantage views. Rooms are basic, spacious and very comfortable, most with ensuite bathroom. The meals are excellent, great service from the family. A good place to recharge or recover. A new swimming pool is almost ready! Thank you Shimboni Meadows & Shimboni Safaris. you have a fantastic team! All the best!

More Than A Drop (MTAD) is an oasis in Moshi. I stayed for about a week in February 2025. MTAD is located just outside of Moshi. Although I mostly just walked to town tuk tuks or motorcycle rides come by every minute or two. Ths staff are friendly and helpful. They accomodated any request including 5 AM breakfast. Milli arranged for transportation and advised on tours. The breakfast and dinners were delicious offering traditional local dishes as well as conventional favorites. Especially mango sorbet! Much is grown in the gardens. Everything is prepared in house, including fresh baked breads and cakes in the morning. The facility is spotlessly clean. I spent many hours relaxing in the shade on a setee or sipping cold lager on the patio. My time there will be remembered as a hilight of my trip.
