MAINLY because of the staff. Super friendly, and always there to help with a smile. The hostel itself is also amazing and very homely. Has many places to hang out, a pool, pool table, cheap laundry I can do myself, and most importantly a kitchen to make your own food. Making my own egg after months of traveling was such a little pleasure.

Pang's breakfast and dinner preparations were consistently excellent and portions substantial. The location was idyllic. I stayed in my own bungalow with bath ensuite. It was a new structure with tile interior, table, chair and clothes rack. The bungalow was above a pond frequented by a variety of birds. I'm a birdwatcher, so I really liked that. The farm is about six hundred meters from a small village with a small store good for provisions and a daily soup offering. The hosts frequently put out delicious, steamed sweet corn on the cob grown on the farm.
