Awesome place, tends, food, and experience, made possible by the people working there. Ibrahim, the manager, wasn’t just kind, but he supported us with the rest of our trip in Oman. Said, the driver, impressive as well. The guys supporting with the accomodation and the food super kind. We couldn’t recommend more the place and this team. The place is beautiful during the night. We had the most incredible stay with Ali! He was the perfect host, super friendly and we had lovely chats with him! The camp was spectacular, super clean and comfortable and the food, especially the dinner was delicious! Absolutely recommend staying here for a unique and private desert camping experience! The camp is simply great! The few tents are nicely decorated and beds are comfortable, everything is perfectly clean. The owners are super kind and it’s easy to communicate with them. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing! big variety of local food, great coffee, all fresh with delicious aroma. In the morning the camels came closer and made our son happy. The staff was kids friendly.

Amazing Omani welcome from Saud and his family. A stunning location with spotlessly clean and comfortable tents, with crisp linen and beautiful interior decoration. Delicious and plentiful buffet dinner taken in a traditional Omani tent setting, then sitting beside an open fire under the stars. Everything here was great. The tent was big and clean, the breakfast and dinner were various and delicious, and the staff were friendly as well. A magical place, no other camps nearby. Said is a wonderful host, he met us to guide us to the campsite We enjoyed beautiful dates, tea, and coffee and then walked up the dunes to watch a great sunset. Our dinner was beautiful - fish, chicken shwarma, bread, rice, hummus, dips, melon....we were the only ones to stay and slept under the stars rather than the tent.

Nice small scale camp in the desert, only 6 tents. Very nice staff providing good service and friendly host. It is very magical to walk up the dunes and look at the sunset or sunrise. We enjoyed it very much, thank you! It might be good to know that pick up can be arranged for an extra charge from a meetingpoint (we were glad we did this as there are no signs to the camp). Also the dinner is not included in the price, however the food was very nice, so recommended!

Had a great stay here! Lovely hosts and very peaceful in the desert. The tents are cosy! In the evening we ran up the dune behind the camp for a gorgeous sunset. Did the same again for sunrise. Can 100% recommend staying here.

Exceptional stay with even greater hosts. The camp is quiet, clean and serene. Located at the top of the dunes making sunsets and sunrises particularly accesible. The tents were made for a good nights sleep the authentic food was a treat. Fayez and the team made us feel at home. We will be back! Definitely the camp of choice if looking for a calm desert stay.

Everything was just wonderful: very friendly and professional staff, delicious food, good location, comfortable tents, well organised and interesting activities (sunset dune bashing, sunrise camel riding ...etc.).Sunrise Desert Local Private Camp is a highly recommended option to enjoy some quality time at the Wahiba Sands.

I can really recommend this desert camp!! Very nice location, next to the dunes to watch the sunset and sunrise. As it was only a few tents, it was very personal and did not feel touristy:) in the camp, we met other great people, it attracted some solo travelers and likeminded people I guess. Everyone was very happy with our choice for the camp: basic but not too commercialized and beautiful location. Value for money was great!
