Such a lovely home! There are no other buildings around to block the view, much like a fairy tale house. The hosts are very friendly, and the breakfast is very authentic, a home-cooked meal that allows you to experience Japanese culture. The two little pets at home are very enthusiastic. Everything! It's a beautiful cottage in a wooded area. The kitchen has everything we needed. It's 1 hidden gem in Biei.

We stayed here for two nights in August 2024. It's a small, family run cottage. The rooms are small and there is a steep ladder up to the sleeping area, but it has everything that you need. Yes, there's no TV, but you probably won't need it anyway. Breakfast was delicious and plenty, with fresh coffee. Laundry available. We had a great time watching squirrels with the owner and were received very warmly!
