One of the best stays I even had in my life! The place is managed by a wonderful family, so be sure to be very well taken care of. Water was for free. The hotel is very cosy, clean and quiet. Design is very well thought through. Exceptionally good service, great location, ocean is very clean with a small coral reef 20-30 meters away from the shore. There are also 3 sea turtles living somewhere around which you can see in the second half of a day. Food is always freshly cooked, fresh juices for breakfast, nice cutlery and decoration. I stayed just 2 nights but I wish I stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Very welcoming staff and a lovely location. A special mention to Ornella who really looked after us. The lemurs come at sundown for bananas which is really special and was the highlight of our stay. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The chef provides options based on what he has & cooks tasty dishes including fresh fish & prawns. The owner ( Jean Michel) was very helpful and arranged 3 days of Scuba diving for us as well as a trip to Lokobe to see the wildlife. I would recommend for a few days of peace & tranquility.

What an absolutely lovely stay at this lodge with a breathtaking view! It is quite the climb to get up to the lodge, but it is absolutely worth it. Our hosts were so welcoming and accommodating, it made our stay that much more relaxing. And to top it off, the presence of lemurs is a one of a kind experience. Memories made for a lifetime, thank you!

The place is really amazing, there was not a single thing we didn't like. the staff was perfect, helpful, smiling ...the owners went far beyond what one would expect, recommending and organizing the excursions for us, providing whatsoever we needed . The quality of the facility is great, the lodges are unique providing a great comfort ...Our experience was unique. we really regretted not to be able to stay longer than the 5 days ...The place is a little bit isolated, which was something we were looking for.... and liked... Everything! Wonderful and secluded place to stay that gives you those unique experiences you will remember for years with an amazing atmosphere and wonderful hosts. The bungalows are of very high standards with unique views and very fresh interior - rooms were also every day. The gardens are wonderful and the surroundings are amazing - a true nature experience. Tasty and varied meals that were homemade every day and plenty of things to do that the hosts gladly were arranging. We have been travelling much around and this is absolutely one of our best experiences. Hope to come back one day and thank you so much for contributing to making our holiday its best! We had such a lovely stay at Tamarin Lodge. The location of the bungalows is fantastic, being walking distance to some local restaurants and the local market. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Special mention must be made of how beautiful and lush the garden area is and if you’re lucky you’ll spot some lemurs in the trees above.
