The accommodation is on a hill top with beautiful surrounding views and a quiet setting, outside there are hammocks which are great for relaxing and reading book. Ky and his family are very attentive and helpfulness with everything you need, I had a lovely dinner with his family. He also organised a trekking tour for me to visit the rice terraces and the Hmong villages with his sister who was a great guide. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Stunning location high in the mountains on edge of rice paddies.... Lapatan Paradise is beautifully constructed with great attention to detail...designed by Nam our host. Nam and his wife Giang welcomed us warmly, picking us up by bike for the short ride to the homestay. Giang made delicious local food, and Nam guided us on foot and by scooter in the surrounding countryside. Our bungalow was charming, immaculately clean and very comfortable. We slept so well! 'Hidden gem' is such a cliche but Lapantan Paradise truly is one. We plan to return next year!

The host is lovely! He helped me arranging the bus and suggested places to go. I had dinner with him and the family and everyone was very nice. The house is only 1km from the town where you can rent a motorbike to move around and enjoy the beautiful views on the rice fields. The dorm has big big beds and you have your own privacy. Suggested!!

An amazing place in the countryside, with beautiful rooms and a wonderfully friendly staff. Chua makes you instantly feel at home, and helps with booking all tours and treks in the area. His cooking is also awesome - make sure try the potato soup if it’s in season! The rooms are comfortable and clean, and are a really good size. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony.

The room was brand new and stunning. The view was amazing to wake up to. The staff were very keen to help with anything we needed. It was near to the town and the bus station. The breakfast was colossal and cooked to order even though we were late for breakfast! They're a new hotel so still finding their feet a bit.
