George the host and his family were very welcoming and also took us for a short walk to see the sun setting. Everything you need is at the chalets including the use of bbq and fridge. If you do want to eat out there is a restaurant nearby that George will book for you.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the chalet's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. We loved our 2 nights stay at Kapilio Cottage, very cosy and heart-warming house with all the facilities needed, lovely garden very well taken care of, great view of the mountains, very peaceful and private. The owner welcomed us very nicely and gave us some wood for the bonfire that we enjoyed under a starry night. We absolutely recommend staying there!

Located in the traditional village of Kakopetria, Maritsa Lodge features a garden and offers traditionally decorated accommodation with beamed ceilings and a fireplace. Free WiFi is available in public areas. This hotel is located in a historic building, which really added to the character of the room. Sure the walls aren't even, and the bathroom door was a bit funky, but I loved it anyway! It is located right in the old part of Kakopetria, and there was a free parking within easy reach. I also loved how quiet and serene it was at night, as you can look right over the ravine that Kakopetria is situated over. Also the staff at the hotel were very accommodating, and they made sure our room had two beds instead of one.
