He is very polite and friendly. Lodge staff tour me around the facility with a smile on her face. I had a great time and best experience during my stay.

Situated in Myoko, 31 km from Zenkoji Temple and 33 km from Nagano Station, Pension Moomin Papa features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared lounge. The accommodation has a spa bath. Papa was so lovely. It was a beautiful traditional guest house. I had breakfast too and it was lovely. I also really appreciated lifts too and from ski school and to the train station. It was honestly such a beautiful stay and I will be back. For any solo travellers, it was a very family vibe and I felt very welcome. Thank you Papa!

Nestled in the Japanese Alps, it is ideally located in the middle of a major winter sports area, along with many onsen (hot springs) spots including one onsite. The host is most gracious and goes the extra mile for his guests. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

This 1-star villa offers free shuttle service and luggage storage space. The villa offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We are happy and satisfied with this villa. Everything is perfect, the house is so clean and beautiful. All the kitchenware are well prepared. We manage to cook our breakfast and dinner in the house. The view from the house are great, mt fuji just infront of us. The tatami is comfortable. We are enjoy and happy with our 2 nights stay.

There is a shared lounge at this property and guests can go skiing and cycling nearby. Our favourite thing about the property was the wonderful and welcoming host, Yuki. He was extremely helpful and it is thanks to him and his mother that Marushige is run so brilliantly. Our room was traditional Japanese style and extremely cosy - although we were sleeping on futons on the floor we were very warm. The shared bathroom was very clean and all of the other guests were very respectful. The location was perfect for both getting to the slopes on foot, visiting local onsens and getting dinner along the Main Street. One night we had dinner at Marushige and it was fantastic, we ate some very refined local cuisine - they even served us a local delicacy of horse meat sashimi (I have to admit that I could not eat it as I don’t really eat meat but my husband tried it).
