There is also a seating area and a fireplace. The place is beautiful and a nice get away from the city. We enjoyed the tent. It was clean. They had provided everything you could need for a self catering place.

The food (almost too much of it) the heated pool, the spa, the drinks on the deck, the game drives, the views, rooms are super clean and fresh towels whenever you need. There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

The property had an excellent view over the bushveld. It was peaceful and felt secluded. The kitchen and braai facilities were plentiful. Shared the property site with a few ostriches, impala, wildebeest. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We went for my husband’s birthday and they made it so special without me even asking. All staff were informed and went the extra mile. A special thanks to Lerato at dining and Hloni the game drive guide who were the best!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Really great lodge right next to Kruger. We stayed here only for a night before driving into Kruger the next day, but it was such a good evening. When we arrived we immediately jumped into the refreshing pool and had a chat and a beer with the other people who stayed at the lodge. Then the owners of the lodge prepared an amazing braai for us and we ate together with everyone who stayed there, which was so cozy! Highly recommend if you are looking for a familial vibe and cozy hangout with other travellers.

Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport is 52 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Everything was beyond expectactions. Everyone were so polite, nice and tried to make our stay unforgetable. The game drives were really something, you experience only once in life. Special thanks to Sean, who drove us through fantastic locations and answered all of our quetions about. We saw 4 of bug five animals on one ride and saw many others. We did not see the leopards but seeing four black rhinos together was more rarely experience, and Sean told us he never in his life saw anything like that. The food was also amazing, they know exactly what they are doing. Thanks again. Stay here you won’t regret.

Kinyonga Reptile Centre is 16 km from Muunga Bush Lodge & Spa, while Timbavati Private Nature & Game Reserve is 48 km away. Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport is 7 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Muunga Bush Lodge is in a very unique location in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. I could sit by the pool and watch birds fly by or, nyala and warthogs wonder by. There are nice walking trails that take you to waterholes with hides for viewing animals. I enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners my entire stay. The Lodge and outside areas are beautifully decorated. There are a number of local magazines, bird and animals books available for reading. I definitely recommend Muunga if you want to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
