We had a wonderful stay at Ferdinand Residence! The room was spotless, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. All the furniture and amenities were brand new, which made the stay even more comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was good, fresh, and varied. Delicious coffee included with breakfast (it's normal to pay for coffee from the bar if you want to), and warm pastries really made the mornings feel special. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and quiet at night.

Great find, lovely hotel ( looks quite new) steps away from the beach and with friendly staff. Beds are super comfortable and pillows as well. Shower had pressure and always hot. Breakfast served in there restaurant in front of the beach was lovely to. You can pick as many items as you want and coffee and juice. Good service all true out. Good parking under the hotel as well for no extra charge. Location perfect to move around the beaches from Dhermi and Himare. Thank you so much.

Toni and his family were incredible hosts, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious - each morning getting freshly made omelettes, donuts, fruit, coffee etc. The view from the property is AMAZING and we spent many afternoons sitting on the patio with beer in hand watching the sunset. The location is also fantastic, 10min walk to the beach and easy stroll to a number of excellent restaurants. Himare is far less busier than some of the other beach towns we visited too which we liked! Overall one of our favourite holidays!

Excellent location, spotless rooms, and a fantastic pool! The location is very convenient — close to everything, yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool was absolutely wonderful — perfect for cooling off on a hot day. There's also a beautiful beach nearby, which you can reach on foot. From there, you can even discover a hidden gem — the secret beach. We really appreciated that the Karos Hotel is set slightly apart from the town center. It's quieter and more relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle, but Himarë is still just a few minutes away by car.

We really liked Livadhi beach.

We really liked Livadhi beach. It is not too large, was quiet when we visited (late September), and has beautiful views. It is a pebble beach, so can be a bit challenging to get into the sea. The water was clear and had a very nice temperature. There are several restaurants and bars, as well as some small supermarkets where you can get essentials if you want to cook yourself. For eating out, I recommend Dimitri's, which is at the entry to the beach. Great food (Greek inspired), very reasonable prices and efficient service. We did visit the main strip of Himare one evening but were not impressed. Could be anywhere (Greece, Spain etc.) and the food we had was average at best.

Himarë is the kind of place that captures your heart the moment you arrive. The town is small but full of charm, with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly locals. You’ll find everything you need: beaches, restaurants, little shops, and a touch of authentic Albanian hospitality. The beaches are truly the highlight. From the main Himarë beach along the promenade to the smaller coves near Prinos, the water is crystal clear and inviting. Street parking is free and accessible. For those who love exploring, having a car is a must—nearby treasures like Porto Palermo, Aquarium Beach, and Gjipe (which requires a short but rewarding 2 km hike) are absolutely worth it. Himarë has both the charm of a quiet village and the energy of a seaside town. You’ll enjoy fresh seafood, traditional Greek-Albanian dishes, and the simple pleasure of strolling along the corniche at sunset. It’s not overly touristy yet, which makes it feel authentic and special. The only thing I didn’t like? That our stay was too short! Two nights are not enough for Himarë: it deserves much more time to be discovered and enjoyed. And next time, I won’t leave without trying the famous Greek gyros at one of the local restaurants. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a mix of beautiful beaches, authentic culture, and a peaceful yet lively atmosphere. Himarë is definitely a destination to return to.

Very cozy little town, amazing mountains. Has everything you need. Several grocery stores. Nice people, program options, hiking, crystal clear water everywhere, free beach, sunbeds if you want. Pleasant evening music. Good restaurants. The Great Chimara tour was amazing!!!

The hotel is great and the staff is amazing! Especially Alex is a lovely host, always eager to make your stay as great as posible. We had a delicious Dinner and he also recommended us great beaches in the area. Also the nearest beach was just 200m away. Also breakfest was great and the Service top. Location was truly unique. Because it’s at the end you get a coastline that is unmatched with tropical destinations around the world (Bali Hawaii Thailand) but you’re in beautiful himare Albania. Sunset is insane. LOVE the family that run it - they do everything to make your stay as relaxed as possible. This hotel really is the ultimate chill.
